This publication responds to the development of one of the fundamental axes of the Plan to reduce the use of nitrogen fertilizers, "the dissemination of the principles of good fertilization". The first step to achieve this objective is the publication of this guide that collects, in a clear and concise way, both basic and general concepts on plant nutrition and specific aspects of the fertilization of the most representative crops of Spanish agriculture.

The information presented in this guide, thanks to the collaboration of experts from the university or renowned research centers from all regions of Spain, makes it a practical and easy-to-use manual so that farmers and technicians can search, assess and choose the available fertilizers that are appropriate to your specific needs.
